Happy Friday!
Hey everyone happy Friday I hope you all have a great weekend. I have my annual review today at 3pm EST to find out raise/bonus, etc. Can't wait. And it better be good or I will let them know I am not happy and ask for more. Don't laugh, if you have the recommendations and positive feedback to back it up then it works. I have that cached away just in case. If my customer (U.S. Government) is under the impression that what my company gives me is not enough, they will go to my company on my behalf and pretty much demand more for me because they know if I am not happy I will probably just leave. My company will gladly yield since it is what the customer wants. Yep that's how it works here....it is a vicious cycle of which I am the beneficiary.
Well, once again we've weakened our country. Another useless bag of ass moonlighting as a federal judge declared the warrantless wire tapping being done by the NSA unconstitutional. This was a suit filed by the ACLU who would like to see our country give everything to the useless and lazy and punish those who bust their ass and are well-off as a result. That's not to say that if you're not well-off that you're useless and lazy so calm the fuck down. All this suit did was weaken the ability of our government to be proactive in finding the scumbag muslims who'd like to kill and maim innocent American citizens. You can argue the validity of the wire tapping all you want, but you cannot argue the fact that stopping it made us weaker.
I think I mentioned it already but we're going to a party tomorrow at a friend's house. But first, in the morning we're gonna get up and take stinky out to breakfast at the diner she likes. Then we're gonna go to Country Junction--the big general store I always rave about--and feed the animals in the petting zoo and just stroll around for a while. Should be fun. Then Sunday....you guessed it, I will be out on my boat again. Fuckin' A!
Well it's only 10am and I am in wind down mode for the week....it was a busy week here for me which is rare to be honest with you. So I am gonna go and dick around for a while and goof off. Then do my review at 3 and haul ass home so I can relax in the bathtub with some raw flounder fillets and ground up giraffe hooves. Toodles.

I saw that on the news last night. I like how they said, "it will temporarily continue because the goverment has filed an appeal." Let's face it, they'll continue to do it whether or not a judge orders them to stop. Hello! It's the government. Just like the CIA is supposed to work outside the US...riiiight.
Don't know how I feel about it either way. I think this new threat in the UK woke us up again. Many people got too complacent. Unfortunately, it probably will take another tragedy for people to get on the bus of wire tapping. I know they aren't interested in my conversation so why should I care, right? But at the same time I tend to feel a little violated of my rights. I know what you'll say, Vinny, but really if they have all this technoology why the f*** haven't they found Bin Laden? I agree they need to nuke his ass. Sad part is that there's many more in line behind him. This will never end.
I think the UK thing caught people's attention but didn't wake them up....at least not enough. You're right....like I said in one of my blogs last week, it's gonna take an act of terror on a huge scale to really wake people up. Then they'll be saying that the President didn't do enough to stop it... which is pure bullshit because he's doing everything he can and being obstructed every inch along the way. I also agree with you that it will never end, that's what makes it so imperative that we remain on the offense. Let's do whatever we have to to stop it before it happens and not react once it does happen. As far as Bin Laden? You're right...I personally believe we should have caught or killed him by now but you know, in a hostile part of the world like that where everyone hates the U.S. and anything else western, it's not that easy to break the allegiance of these fanatics whether you have a $10 or $25 million bounty on the guy. Crap it was damn near impossible to find PIFWCs in Bosnia and we knew where they were within about 5 radial miles. They also didn't have a support network like OBL has. Of course it doesn't help when that whore from CNN Christian Ammanpour is making a hero out of the guy.
