Big Pig

Okay, not that I ever liked her but now Madonna has officially taken over as Entertainment's biggest PIG. She just kicked off her tour at some obscure California (go figure) music festival where, during an energetic rendition of her song I Love New York, Madonna roared, "Just go to Texas and suck George Bush's dick." Really. Is she serious? What ever happened to decency? People wonder why kids run around these days getting in trouble and having no respect for any type of authority when it is a simple reason. Because fucking idiotic parents let their kids watch and listen to people like this instead of instilling a sense of what's right in their children. Yep that's right....it always comes back to the parents. Kid screws off in school? It's not always the teachers fault....though sometimes they share the blame. But it is ALWAYS the parents' fault. People are too busy trying to work work work...career career career. That's fine, then don't have a frigging kid. Dump the kid in daycare all day, then come home and let your kid play video games and watch MTV all night....I guarantee in 90% of these cases you have a waste of a child. My point is: "people" like Madonna who say and do these things influence kids because their parents let them. Maybe China's idea of sterilization isn't so goddamn bad after all.

Okay, I have loved Madonna since I was born. She’s like an icon to me. But….. I will agree with you, that she has been, in the past, pretty inappropriate. I do have respect for her for not giving a frig about what people think about her and speaking her mind. I am actually pretty surprised to hear she’s acted this was recently. In the past 5 years or so she has seemed to clean up her behavior quite a bit. I mean she wrote several children’s books. If you see her in an interview she seem so shy and wholesome. Plus….. I’m pretty sure I've heard her say that she doesn't even have a TV in her home. At least I know that she doesn’t allow her children to watch TV nor does she watch it. I’ve also heard her say that they don’t read the newspaper either. So…… seems like she’s the parent you think parents should be. But, if you’re saying she’s a bad influence, how is she going to do the best thing and keep herself away from her kids??? I still like her; she doesn’t influence me……. I would never suck George Bush’s dick. I would like for him to kiss my ass though.

See? There's the problem. The man is the President of the United States. Like him or not, agree or disagree, why can't people have some respect for at least the office if not the man in it. I hated Clinton more than anyone on the planet...I think he was the second worst President in the last half of the 20th century. However, I still had tremendous respect that the man held the office of the President. By not having a TV or not reading a newspaper what does that tell me? Absolutely nothing. That doesn't mean anything about teaching values. I realize this is coming from the same person who's some some pretty outlandish things but I wouldn't expose my child to these things. And no Madonna is not the parent I think parents should be....she's about the furthest thing from it. Otherwise she wouldn't preach this kind of disrespect regardless of how many TVs she has.

Vinny, we have completely different political views, which I already knew. I don’t see and “office”, I see a man. I see who he is, what he stands for, and the job he does. I guess it’s like my boss at work. At first, I have respect for him/ her as my boss, but after years of reporting to him/ her and getting to know his values and work ethic, I may lose that respect and form an opinion. I’m not saying that’s right or wrong, just human nature. Now, with that said…… my comment about the president was just a joke. I don’t support him but what I said was only a joke. Now, Madonna I doubt exposes her children to her outlandish things. Maybe you should take a few minutes out and read something about her. I am a little worried that you believe you have total control over how your children turn out. Parents aren’t always responsible.

I'll just say that how can Madonna NOT expose her kids to something like that when it is plastered all over the media? No I don't believe any parent has ABSOLUTE control over how their kid turns out but you know there are certain things that you probably should and shouldn't do in the name of setting an example for them. Plus, I really do believe that the lack of respect you see and hear everywhere IS a direct reflection of values (or lack of) taught by a child's parent(s). Not in every single case but in general.
