End of Freedom

No I am not gonna spew some of my typical right-wing ranting. Tomorrow night my wife and daughter come home from their Florida trip. My week of freedom will be over. Don't think that means I am not happy they're coming home....I am ecstatic! As much as I tell myself, "I am gonna have a blast while I am at home by myself" I always end up enduring a boring, lonely and dismal time. At least this time I am getting some things done: I tried cleaning my gutters but didn't do too well because I ended up falling off my roof. I drained my hot water heater; vacuumed and steam cleaned all the carpets; I bought paint and supplies and last night I taped up all the window and door frames and tonight I am going to paint the guest bathroom. I bought and installed some new blinds since I broke the other ones when I had a temper tantrum and threw the laundry basket against them. I also have to empty the dishwasher and re-load it with the stuff I dirtied. I feel good because I was somewhat productive this time the family went away. I am even going to stop on the way home to get some fresh milk so I have it ready when my little stinky (Samantha) gets home tomorrow night!

In other news I have my 10 year reunion from West Point coming up this October. My old buddies and I are finalizing all of the details about where we're staying and what we're going to do. I am excited about that even though it is 7 months away but DAMN I cannot believe it has been 10 years!!!! I am straight up old! Only 2 of the guys are still in the army so I dunno if they'll be there but the rest of us will and I am sure it will be out of control.

Anyway, sorry to bore everyone (all 1 or 2 people that probably read this). Keep your fingers crossed for me....maybe I will win the lottery tomorrow night and retire early.
