I am just a skinny Italian kid feeling left out because everyone else has a blog but me. So check it out! Or don't...either way.

I am the greatest!!!

Is anyone else completely sickened by the self-congratulating morons that are Hollywood? I am. How many award shows are necessary for these people to tell each other how wonderful they are? Oh and best of all is that each of these shows provides a forum for these actors to stand up in front of a crowd and make a complete idiot of his or herself by speaking on political issues of which they are obviously ignorant. I don't watch these shows but have read many stories written the next day about their speeches and how the Michael Moore's of the world are actually booed off the stage because of their irrational and not-so-well thought out anti-administration rants. It is great!

Even worse than the show itself is all of the time and effort expended on its behalf. The Joan and Melissa Rivers dogs, the ET Extravaganzas, the pre-show, the post-show, yada yada yada. Come on! Seriously, who with any mind whatsoever gives a flying fuck about what kind of dress they're wearing?!?! And....even worse than all the time and effort is the number of people who watch this nonsense. Frankly, I am of the school that the degredation we see everyday in our country is in no small part influenced by the attention paid to these morons. Don't get me wrong, I think lazy parents, video games and organizations like the ACLU are the primary culprits but I do believe that Hollyweird is a significant influence and not a good one. Of course I also believe Hollyweird helped President Bush win the last election because of their arrogant and ridiculous TV spots that people were sick of. When you hear liberals calling a conservative radio show and saying, "what the hell does Barbara Streisand or Tim Robbins or Susan Sarandon or Alec Baldwin know about politics?" you know it is pretty bad.

Anyway, I had to vent a little about that. It is not that I hate all actors. I just like the ones that keep their mouth shut about things they don't know about. At least Schwarzenegger was a student of the political school and had a clue what he was talking about before becoming governor. Oh and lest I forget who I thought was the best President we ever had, he was also an actor. His name was Ronald Reagan. RIP Mr. President.
